Halle is a sophomore chemistry major in the College of Arts and Sciences from Marion, Ohio. She developed an interest in organic chemistry her senior year of high school after taking a course at The Ohio State University. She went on to work for her professor there as a research assistant for a modeling project the summer after her freshman year of college. Halle decided to join the Lin Group in order to gain a further understanding of organic synthesis and to gain a new understanding in how electrochemistry can be used in organic chemistry. In her free time, Halle enjoys playing volleyball and plays on the Cornell Women’s Club Volleyball team.
