Isabel is a junior biology major from Los Alamos, New Mexico. She became interested in experimental chemistry after taking Dr. Bruce Ganem’s whirlwind tour of organic chemistry. To her surprise, she really enjoyed it and sought out research in the field, eventually ending up in Dr. Lin’s group to learn more about the subject. Outside of school and research, she enjoys rowing with the Cornell Rowing Club, hiking, cycling, and following the world’s ugliest dog competition.
