Zongbin Jia

Zongbin was born and raised in Xinxiang, Henan, China. He received his B.S. degrees in Chemistry from Zhengzhou University in 2017. Then he moved to Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS) to pursue his Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Professor Sanzhong Luo. During this period, he also undertook a four-year joint education at Tsinghua University. After receiving his Ph.D. degree in September 2022, his continued his research on chiral primary amine catalyzed oxidative transformation in the same group. In August 2023, he joined the Lin group as a postdoctoral associate at Cornell University and focused on the research of novel electrocatalytic synthetic methodology.
