Cindy, originally from Taiwan, earned her Ph.D. at Boston College under the guidance of Professor Peter Zhang. Throughout her graduate studies, she devoted her efforts to developing Co(II)- and Fe(III)-based metalloradical systems for enantioselective radical reactions. Subsequently, she joined the group of Song Lin as a postdoctoral associate. Her research revolves around organic synthesis with a particular emphasis on asymmetric catalysis. Outside the laboratory, Cindy finds joy in various pursuits. Whether captivated by the allure of cinematic storytelling, exploring new destinations through travel, or simply savoring the pleasure of a good drink, she embraces diverse interests. Notably, she has a penchant for culinary delights, with a particular fondness for the exquisite flavors of sashimi and hotpot.
