Jiachen Deng

Jiachen was born and raised in Shanghai, China. He received his B.S. degree from East China University of Science and Technology in 2015. In 2016, he joined Prof. Jinghan Gui’s group at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC) to pursue his Ph.D research in natural product synthesis. After he earned his Ph.D. degree in 2020, he continued his research in the same group as a research assistant. In January 2022, he started his postdoctoral research in Song’s lab at Cornell University.
