Kelly was born in Ithaca and has lived here all her life. She has worked in the Department of Chemistry at Cornell since 1987. Wow! Through the years, she has worked with many professors and their students and has learned a great deal from all of the them. When Kelly is not working, she loves to read, especially mysteries and she enjoys watching the variety of birds that come to her birdfeeders. She was born a NY Yankees fan (they’ve disappointed her once again!). She loves watching hockey (especially the Detroit Red Wings and the Colorado Avalanche).
