Nguyen Le

B.S. Purdue University
Advisor: Christopher Uyeda

Nguyen was born and raised in Danang, a coastal city that is famous for tourism in Vietnam. Nguyen decided to go study abroad and pursued his undergraduate degree at Purdue University. There, he had a chance to work in Professor Christopher Uyeda lab where he spent time learning and understanding organometallic chemistry. He worked on a nickel carbene nucleophilic attack project for the two last years of his degree. Joining Lin lab during the Fall of 2023, Nguyen feels excited to explore the great potential of electrochemistry in organic chemistry (no pun intended). Outside the lab, Nguyen loves traveling, chatting with his friends, and playing video games.
