Wenjun, originally from Jiangsu, China, earned his B.S. in applied chemistry from Yangzhou University in 2016. Then, he pursued his master’s at SIOC under Prof. Liang Yin, focusing on copper-catalyzed asymmetric reactions. In 2020, he joined the ICIQ as a Ph.D. candidate, and his research focus was on the incorporation of fluorine-containing motifs through photocatalysis, metal catalysis, and “super-electron-donor” chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Ruben Martin. In February 2024, he joined the Lin group at Cornell University as a postdoctoral associate to learn electrochemistry and work on novel high-throughput experimentation methods.
