Standardizing electrochemistry

Electrochemistry boasts an array of unique and attractive features that render it an ideal tool to usher in a new era of sustainable organic synthesis. However, the adoption of this technology by the broader synthetic community and the industry has historically been hampered by a lack of standardized reactors.

We invent technologies to broaden the adoption of electrochemistry in organic synthesis and bring electrosynthesis into the modern age.

High-Throughput Electrochemistry
High-Throughput Electrochemistry

HTe–Chem offers a standardized platform for high-throughput electrochemical experimentation in a compact 24-well plate microscale reactor compatible with existing HTE infrastructure such as multichannel pipettors and reagent handling robotics. HTe–Chem is designed to enable the rapid evaluation of a broad array of electrochemical reaction parameters to accelerate reaction optimization, reaction discovery, and chemical library synthesis.

Wireless Electrochemistry
Wireless Electrochemistry

A key challenge in achieving electrochemical high-throughput experimentation beyond 24 parallel reactions is the intricate electrode, wiring, and circuitry system it requires. Our solution is wireless electrochemistry via conversion of visible light to electricity enabled by nanofabricated photoelectric devices. These devices are compatible with standardized high-throughput technologies for 24, 96, and 384 well-plates and beyond.
